Mohammad Javad Askari, in an interview with the Mine News reporter, pointed out that part of the machinery for the FTTH project has been purchased and the remaining machinery will be entered soon, stating: "With the implementation of this project, the production capacity of new products in Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories will increase."

He added: "The sales budget for the current year has been set at around 2000 billion tomans, while the sales of the company in the years 1401 and 1402 reached approximately 480 and 920 billion tomans, respectively, and in the first five months of the current year, the company's sales increased by nearly 40 percent to more than 412 billion tomans."

He mentioned that the Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories has allocated the highest level of fiber optic and micro cable production in the country, stating: "The FTTH project is a significant event, and if it is completed, it will bring a major transformation in the Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories. There were many years during which the implementation of this project was halted in the company, and due to losses, no developmental projects had been executed."

The CEO of Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories predicted the profit for the current year to be around 500 billion tomans and stated: "The profit of the company last year was approximately 206 billion tomans."

He announced the company's exports for the first half of the current year to be around one million dollars and added: "Iraq is the largest export market for Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories, and we also export to Venezuela and Syria. A six million euro contract has been signed with Syria. In the past, we had a claim of about 13 million euros from Syria, of which four million euros remains, and a new export contract has been signed considering the payment of this amount. Additionally, the budget for the current year in the field of exports has been set at about 2 to 2.5 million dollars. Besides, we have plans for exports to Ethiopia, Afghanistan, CIS countries, Russia, Turkey, Pakistan, and Erbil in Iraq."

Askari announced one of the company's plans at Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories to produce electric cables in addition to telecommunication cables, stating: "In this regard, the necessary machinery for producing electric cables is expected to be imported from China."

Regarding the status of debt collection for Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories, he explained: "Before my presence in the company, the company's claims in the telecommunications sector (both governmental and non-governmental) were paid over a three-year period; however, currently, the company's claims are settled within 2 to 2.5 months. Debts from Tavanir are also settled between 2.5 to 3 months. Of course, there are still outstanding claims from the past with telecommunication and Tavanir, but regarding new contracts, claims are settled quickly."

The CEO of Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories stated that the problem of not allocating currency for procuring raw materials and machinery has led to an increase in production costs in the company, saying: "Unfortunately, the Central Bank has not responded to our correspondence regarding currency allocation. On the other hand, this year, Tavanir has removed the price adjustment clause from its contracts with Shahid Qandi Manufacturing Factories, which has resulted in many difficulties in purchasing raw materials from the commodity exchange."
